Cabins On the Point

“We stayed at the Heather cabin one week for our honeymoon August 2020 and had a truly wonderful time. The cabin has large windows and breathtaking views of the West Sound. The cabin is well equipped with stove, oven, microwave, toaster oven, fridge and freezer. It has good WiFi and a tv where you can log in to your streaming accounts. It is so fun to have paddle boards and kayaks there available at any time and loved the hot tub, which is clean and hot with good jet and light settings. Cornhole and croquet and campfire on the property are really fun too. Charming Orcas Island itself has much to explore. There are many amazing restaurants (during the current climate, most if not all do takeout). There is beautiful hiking (Moran State Park is a highlight). We saw orcas on a whale watch tour. Jennifer, the owner, is the sweetest -- she went out of her way to make us at home and help arrange our stay. Watch out for the harbor seals! We saw them from outside the cabin and one swam up to say hello while we were out on the paddle boards.”

“My wife and I stayed in the Heather at Cabins on the point for our honeymoon. This place is an absolute paradise! The Heather cabin is a perfect spot for a couple who is looking for a quiet romantic getaway. It sits on the edge of the outermost rocky cliff facing the bay. The views are spectacular. From inside the cabin nearly every window frames the pristine setting while the master bed sits in a bay window and gives you amazing views of the moonlit water as you fall asleep. Every morning we would sit on the edge of the cliff outside the cabin and drink coffee while watching a wide variety of wildlife: humming birds, geese, otters, a family of seals, fish, squid & an untold number of different birds. The management here was absolutely wonderful as well. They were always happy to assist in anyway to help us enjoy our stay on the island. We have already decided that we would love to revisit the Cabins on the Point when we celebrate future anniversaries.”

“My husband and I stayed here for a little vacation just the two of us at Heather Cabin and it was so beautiful and romantic and there was lots to do on the island. The cabin had a kitchen which saved us money because we just got some groceries and cooked instead of going out! The bed was so soft and comfortable! And it was so peaceful there! And the views!! GORGEOUS!!! Management was so welcoming and even helped us find some things to do around the Island! I highly recommend this place to anyone even families in the bigger cabin! It’s a great place to get away!”
